Mangalam Camphor 5 gm Pouch is the small sealed retail pack kirana and puja shops sell by the piece. Each pouch holds tablet kapoor for daily aarti. JIVN supplies the original Mangalam pack as a wholesale carton — we do not manufacture this SKU.
Trade packing
- Unit: 5 gm sealed pouch
- Chain: 20 pouches per hanging chain (100 gm per chain)
- Carton: 1,000 pouches = 50 chains = 5 kg net when packed
Order and quote on carton. Chains are for counter hanging and piece-sale.
What the brand states
From House of Mangalam / Mangalam Organics tablet camphor pages:
- Made from 100% camphor derived from the pine tree — not a mixed filler tablet.
- Pure camphor is said to burn fully, without sparking, and leave no residue or ash. That is the trade check for this grade.
- Tablets are sized to hold and light easily; the flame is meant to last a full aarti.
- Used for puja, festivals and other religious ritual; also placed as a household air-freshener / insect-repellent tablet (unlit) in closed spaces.
- Manufacturer marked on pack: Mangalam Organics Limited, Village Kumbhivali, Sarvoli Kharpada Road, Khalapur – 410202, India.
- Brand best-before on this line is typically printed as 10 years from packing. Store sealed; camphor sublimates if the pouch is left open.
Scriptural note used by the brand: pure camphor is said to burn leaving no trace — the aarti flame is taken as a sign of a clean offering. That is brand language, not a JIVN religious claim.
Who buys this pack
- Kirana and general stores that sell 5 gm pouches loose from the chain
- Puja samagri wholesalers and mandir suppliers who need a named brand, not loose slab kapoor
- Festival stocking before Navratri, Durga Puja, Diwali and daily temple use
This is tablet kapoor (pine-derived camphor tablets), not Bhimseni crystal. Do not sell or describe it as edible Bhimseni.
How shops use it
- One small tablet in a brass / steel kapoor dani for morning or evening aarti
- Festival thalis and temple counters where a sealed branded pouch is preferred over open slab
- Closed cupboard or drawer as a camphor freshener (pouch opened, tablets not lit)
Handling
- Highly flammable. Keep away from flame until the aarti is lit. Store cool, dry, away from heat.
- Not for eating. Keep away from children and pets. Do not apply on broken skin.
- Once a pouch is opened, use quickly — camphor shrinks in open air. That shrinking is sublimation, not shortage in a sealed pouch.
